After digging & moving my hardy kiwis( A. kolomitka) last spring, some vines have grown back from the roots. One piece has been a very pretty green & yellow variegated pattern all summer. I would like to propagate it but don't know the best technique.
1) take cuttings now.
2) wait until spring
3) cut back the non-variegated shoots and see what happens next spring.
I am in Quebec, Zone 4

Adrienne, why don't you ask someone who grows and propagates hardy kiwi for a living? Contact Roger Meyer, exoticfruit@95net.com. If you need his phone number, let me know. I know that Roger propagates them from cuttings but I don't know when /how.
