If the seeds are ripe, the outer hull should split off, revealing the brown
seed underneath. Place the seed in a zip lock plastic bag with just barely
moist peat moss and keep in the veg. crisper of your refrigerator until
next spring. In spring, remove the bag from the frig and keep at room temp
until you see the seeds germinate (they may even begin to germinate in the
frig). Then plant in the ground.
