[SG] More Advice Please & Thank You!!!

Good Morning All!
You guys are so great with advice so....
I have a propane tank that sits on the side of my house. The problem is
nothing will grow beside it, or even around it! I have even tried 'Morning
Glory' and it died there, my experience with M.G. is it will grow anywhere!
This area is part shade,
moist ground. I would like to at least cover the front of the tank up. (if not
all of it) I'm guessing the fumes keep from anything growing there!?
My neighbor told me one time he tried to plant cudzu (sp?) on his tank and it
wouldn't even grow there! I know that stuff pretty much takes over, so I find
that hard to believe, but don't want to go there!! The last thing I have tried
was
wild flowers, they never came up:( What do ya'll plant around your propane
tanks?
I would get rid of it, but I use it *!*
