Hi Jennifer,

I have heard other people say you can't plant things around propane
tanks, but I have never had a problem.  I have lots of little "baby"
iris (they only get about 5" tall and bloom around Mother's Day), day
lilies, and even rhubarb (sp?).  Hope this helps!
