Re: Good Performers

Hi Bobbi,

I was surprised to hear Ruellia was standing the dry weather...I have
Ruellia britonia (?) 'Strawberries and Cream' that was sold as a water
plant!! It has pink leaves...not sure of flower color, because it was
soo tiny when I received it I don't look for it to bloom this
summer...and I don't think it is hardy in z4. The company I ordered it
from listed several others...blue, pink, and white flowers.

Now for a question...can someone tell me what this plant is?

It looks like an evergreen, but is very soft and dies to the ground in
the winter like a perennial. It has wierd yellow flowers (I guess
that's what they are!). It forms a nice ground cover. Visiters to the
garden always ask what it is, but I have no idea. It was given to me by
a relative.

Thanks!
