The reason you don't find anything on Microbiota decussata is that I
don't grow this one yet.  I have heard that it will grow in this
area, but does not really prefer deep shade and does not like to dry
out.  I have been meaning to get this plant for quite some time, but
the place I want to put it needs some work and I just haven't gotten
there yet:-)

It really is a plant that prefers cooler climates than mine, so I
have been told.  I think it should do well where you are from what I
know of it.
