When I had my first fence -- we had two strands-one was 6 inches off the
ground the keep the woodchucks out and the other for the deer.
It was hard to tell which varmint was more of a pain than the other.
The deer-were not and are not afraid of us-they do not even respect the BB
gun any more. But the fence works!
