The "polyanthus" group of Primula (including the gold-edged varieties) are warm, easy germinators and rates should be very high UNLESS THE SEED IS OLD- Seed remains viable (with rates of 90-100% to be expected) for at least one year- Many members of the genus also have a preference for light to germinate.
