I think I have found the place to be. I bought an old store in an old
neighbourhood and the last things that this yard were a stable for horses
and a work space for cars. Needless to say I am starting from scratch. My
budget is so tight that I think I will raid the local woodlands in the
spring and borrow ferns and other dense chade plants.
I like the idea of using mosses and ferns in those dark places. I am most
anxious to take in all the knowledge that I can. The joy of creating a
garden from scratch is wonderful. I also like the idea of a natural
garden...minus squirrels though.
The garden is narrow and has a fence on either side and I plan to grow
climbing things to hide the fences and make the whole thing quite private.
A bit like an English, town garden. Ahhh...great plans.
