Last Year, I got a plant of a variety(species?) of the subject genus-from a
reputable nursery.
I am one of those who buys first-reads later.
I now read in Wyman's that Juncus effusus spiralis is of no garden value and
can only be grown in bog-like situations.
Can someone tell us-are there "good" varieties of this genus? Can they be
grown well in non-bog-like situations?
I bought it because I thought it would make a good contrast with the form of
hostas, amid which it was planted.
Any info appreciated!
TY!
