The reason I stopped growing ivy is because the really neat varieties don't
get enough snow cover here and will not survive more than a year or two. The
plain green one, as you mentioned, can really get aggressive and be a
nuisance. I am trying a small, heart-shaped one that I bought at a local
nursery. I would love to be able to grow some of the beautiful varieties I
have seen.
