    Glad to hear you called the company, but sorry to hear things did not turn out
the way you would have preferred.
    Perhaps someone on the other end of the line was having a bad hair day, for
there is no such thing as an un-important customer, and if they loose you it is a
great loss. All nurseries (or any other small business) is built one customer at a
time.... and die the same way.
    I know most gardeners do not do this one, but reading the conditions of the
sale Before ordering is very important. All businesses set this one out in their
ordering section of catalog or web site.
    I remember once I ordered some walnut trees by mail order. When they arrived
someone had cut the tap root off to make them fit the package. That usually means
dead on arrival. Checking the conditions... after getting the plants.. I found
they wanted the plants returned at my expense, new ones would be 50% of the
catalog price, plus postage. Period. Their mistake, but there it was. Want to
guess as to whether I placed any more orders with them?
