Hi Gene
I use about 2 thimbles of "chemical stuff" here a year but if I find I
have a plant that has nematodes I don't want it to spread. All I need is
a small teaspoon around a plant and that is it for the year. I bet in
the last 5 years I have used about a small medicine bottle of it. Much
better than doing nothing and spreading nematodes to others.

Well Bob,
I do not use all that "chemical stuff" around here, so if all my hosta begin looking like poop then out the come and in goes something that does work. I like hosta and use them in the garden, but they are not the only shade plants out there.

Hi Gene
They did or do have a research project going on about nematodes. I think they found nemacur works trhe best and some other chemical works some but that was about it. I am sure Bill Meyer could fill in the details.
