Nelly Moser does better in shade -- morning sun/afternoon shade. The blooms hold up a lot longer in shade, in full sun they turn beige quickly. If you plant a vigorous clemmie at the base of a tree it will climb up to the sun. That is what they are designed to do -- search for the sun. North side planting with open shade works for many clemmies too. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Debra Teachout-Teashon Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
