Alas, it's not the children, really, it's the parents who let them run wild to
terrorize the neighborhood.
Try fencing. I've often entertained the notion of building a few tiger pits
(equipped with pungee sticks) but clean-up would get messy... ;-D
Of course, the old man down the street who chases the children out of his yard
by waving a rake at them seems to have a "tried and true" method.
