Re: chickweed salad


Bobbi, lamb's quarters don't taste bad.  Not a lot of flavor there, as I
recall.  But I think they are chock full of vitamins and minerals.  I also
taste tested purslane this summer.  Again, not a bad flavor--possibly a
little peppery.  I didn't go so far as to take it into the kitchen.  Maybe
a little salad dressing would make a difference.  I really should try
that.  I get enough purslane here during the course of the summer to feed a
sizable army.
