Re: chickweed salad

  All winter I eat hairy bitter cress which tastes exactly like
watercress. It forms rosettes of fern-like leaves (there are pairs of
leaves all along a central part, and one at the tip). It is a
European weed, naturalized here.  I also eat dandelions until they
start to flower.
