Who responded with web sites to learn more about Suiseki. Quite interesting.
Somehow I doubt there is a human being alive who did not pick up "interesting"
stones as a child and treasure them.... some of still do, I suppose. Perhaps
finding the universe, or a certain aspect of wonder and awe, in a stone is
child-like in behavior... and if we are lucky some of that remains with us into
adulthood.
I know I am about to get in trouble here, but.... I find that many religions
see dogma wrapped in rock, while individual gardeners can find spirit in stone.
