Chris,
I'm not the best at keeping these things alive either, but I have found that too
much water is one of the Siberian's worst enemies. As a rule, I only soak them
in water for one day or less, unlike the JI which grow new roots in standing
water--and then only if they have been shipped bare root. I would also add some
sand to the potting mix and let them dry out a little more between waterings.
