definition of minumum acceptable commercial division

I am going to divide my first Siberian clump shortly and just realized that I don't know what is the minimum acceptable commercial division. In particular I would like the commercial garden owners to respond but even the buyers can comment. These divisions are going to be for potting but I still want at least the minimum acceptable division in the pot. I have purchased several hundred divisions but was so concerned with either planting or potting them that I did not take time to analyze the divisions. 

Second part of the question. If the acceptable minimum is 3 rhizomes, is it acceptable to use three single rhizomes as the three?
