I remember when you posted these photos a few years ago, I was
completely blown away. Consistency across the continent along with
great form is the way to go. Neil suggested using FOGBOUND in SAGE, it
may contribute to the good form we're after. EAGLE CONTROL, which I
don't have, is reputed to be a good SA breeder but I don't know if the
form is up to snuff. Anybody have a photo of it to share ?
I personally believe the interesting new SAs will come from slightly
wider crosses so we can get new and interesting Space Agers. After all,
who wants to see yet another blue Space Ager ? THORNBIRD has proven to
be a fascinating breeder from what I've seen so far. PRAETORIAN GUARD
might prove to be a winner as well when crossed with the right plant. I
think it's Bill B's favorite SA.
As for ROMANTIC EVENING, I don't think it's going to bloom this year
anyway and I'm not sure I like it's growing habits so it's just as well.
Anyway, enough babble, I better prepare my Summer order before it's too
late.
