has grown and bloomed well for me here in the hot country where about half of

(2001 intro) is SHINE ON THROUGH, also a seedling of SPIRIT
WORLD from its pollen on STEP BEYOND. I find it particularly interesting
as it shows a pronounced beard spine extension or very minimal horn,
one of the few irises that show SA traits not descended from Austin
breeding. Shine On Through shows its Spirit World ancestry quite strongly
in form and pattern, judging from the photograph Vince uses on the
WebSite. Since Spirit World is explicitly
mentioned in the interrelated threads below as one of the problem growers, I
will be particularly interested in the performance here of LET'S BE FRIENDS.
