Kohlrabi

Hi,

Is anyone out there growing Kohlrabi? I tried last year, too late in the
spring/summer season, and my seeds did not germinate. This year I decided
to try it as a fall crop. The seeds have germinated and the plants are
growing, though some night muncher is crunching on the leaves. I don't see
any pests on the plants in the early morning. Could the crickets be eating
the leaves?

Any tips on growing Kohlrabi would be greatly appreciated. I'm not at all
sure what to expect.
