Hi Barbara,
We have lots of bermuda grass (ours is Cynodon dactylon) all over here in so
calif. I too have tried digging it out, as did my mother before me, but the
smallest piece left in the soil will grow again. While I prefer not to spray
anything, the bermuda here is so rampant all over, that when it invades an
area where I dont want it, I will spray it with a little Round-up. That
takes care of it quite nicely.
