Re: Watering

You're absolutely right, watering from above is like rain.  You just have
to be aware of conditions when you water.  It seldom rains when the leaves
are absorbing the Sun's energy.  If you have a lot of watering zones to
cycle through sometimes you have be watering during the middle of the day.
Even when using a low-pressure drip system I like to occasionally give the
vegetable plants a good overhead soaking just before the Sun wakes up the
garden, because they seem to enjoy it.
