I gave up peat pots years ago as too troublesome and expensive. In more
recent years have been using styrofoam coffe cups from the supermarket,
burn drain holes with a small soldering iron and move small seedlings
from flats to pots for further growth, hardening off etc. They are
cheap, & reusable for several years. Being somewhat flexible the plants
are easily removed with a ball of earth around roots. T.J.
