Re: Good spindle tree cultivars ?


The 4 I know of are Red Cascade, Red Cap, Red Ace, and
Aldenhamensis.  I have tried all but Red Cascade but have little
to relate at this time.  Red Ace died the 1st winter.  Aldenhamensis
has not fruited for me even though it is now 6 years old and 6' tall.
I panted Red Cap last fall and it is now covered with fruit but the
color hasn't matured yet.  I would like to know what you find out.
