Re: My Monet Weigela

Thanks for the info.  

My other Weigelas are leafing out now and the My Monets are doing nothing.  My practice is to always wait and observe dead-looking plants before declaring them really gone.  So I'll give these last few the same treatment but they have the same predictable look their "cousins" did last spring.  

Based on your comments, I would say it's my less than sandy soil.  I've got heavier stuff in all the areas I've tried the plant.  The next one I get I will try in the garden over the septic system which has a much sandier base.  I like the look of this plant so much that I'm reluctant to say "uncle" without exhausting all the viable options!
