Re: Asian beetle control
Hi, Sally!
It looks like an Asiatic garden beetle or a June beetle. It depends on whether or not the shell is ridged and some other details that I can't make out even when I zoom in. In any case, go to https://uconnladybug.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/whats-eating-my-plants/<https://uconnladybug.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/whats-eating-my-plants/> for some info on the Asiatic garden beetle. Essentially you need to get the grubs unless you want to go out at night and hand pick the adults.

I finally got a photo of the small copper colored beetle that is stripping
foliage. I uploaded it and a photo of the damage it causes to
http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com/insect-identification.html<http://www.simplegiftsfarm.com/insect-identification.html> as suggested by
Doug Green.
If GWL doesn't accept my attachment you can find it there.
Thanks,
Sally
