But notice that this year's Award of Excellence went to Doug Green and his "smallish soft
cover."  The Q&T top award two years ago also went to a book that wasn't coffee table style -
even though the book did have some lovely photographs Jeff Taylor's 'Tools of the Earth' was a
book for reading - the photos were almost incidental.

That at least indicates that it isn't the glossiness of a book that moves it up the ladder to
success in GWAA's present judging system.
