Re: sponsorship


Public radio must be more fastidious than public TV.   PTV claims 
it's non-commercial, but the "sponsorship credits" are as close to 
commercials as they can get, and go on for at least as long as any 
commercial would.  I've worked in both commercial and public 
television, and the distinction perceived by the folks in public tv 
is quite different than that observed by the general public.  They 
aren't deceived.  Margaret L
