I am a lawyer by trade. Unless your lectures encourage dangerous
subjects or you lead tours where people can get hurt, IMHO the only
reason to incorporate would be for some possible tax purpose you can't
pull of filing as you do now. You should ask your accountant this
question, not us, again speaking as a lawyer.
As for equipment, I am the guy who bought the first computer to a GWA
meeting and was laughed out of the hall by the president when I
suggested we would all be using them to send in our columns....he has
three now. Except for that first CPM model, I have had Dos/Windows
machines all these 25 years...until recently. I say this: buy a Mac
ibook Laptop through an education discount.
On the camera side, IMHO, buy a 5 megapixel camera with good ratings
from PC magazine and expect to buy a new one in three years, so adjust
your price accordingly.
