Re: Sqft Gardener's Logbook - week of 4/3/00

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I'm in Zone 5 - not far from Chicago. My Spinach just started to emerge
overnight. It was planted on 3/26. There's no doubt that I started the
tomatoes, peppers and eggplants early as they are a bit large for indoors. We
had snow flurries this morning so I'm not ready to get them outside yet, even
if covered. I'll just have to do my best and if they doin't make it, I'll buy
starts at the nursery. I so most of my gardening using the sqft method
applied to large containers and 30" X 9" boxes so I don't need all that many
anyway.

Thanks
 Mike
