It sometimes happened (toppled) if I had a high wind right after flood
irrigation for the taller corn like Kandy Korn and Country Gentleman. But
it has never been a problem for the short (less that about 5-1/2 feet)
Bantam types. Since changing to drip irrigation and watering only from
12:00 - 3:00 AM, it hasn't been a problem for the tall types either - Seldom
get a high wind until late afternoon. -Olin, Phoenix AZ.
