Re: Raspberries

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Hi
I grow raspberries in an 8X3 wooden raised bed now. Without knowing what
part of the country you are in I can't give you too many specifics, but
they are very easy to grow. I have a thornless variety that got passed to
me by my aunt.
Anyway, one comment I do have...I used to have a bed like you want to
make. It works well if you be sure to keep them well pruned and not allow
new plants to come up too far from the fence. If you let them grow out too
far its a pain to pick the ones on the fence side.
