I mulch with lots of straw( which they seem to hate- too stickery) and put a
litter box close to the garden! Sounds funny but all the neighborhood
kitties go in there instead of in my garden and flowerbeds.I have one inside
too. I also planted catnip near the box so that they think that that area is
theirs. In areas in my flower beds where there is bare dirt = I pushed
4-6inch sticks into the ground every 6 to 12 inches so that only an inch
sticks up and they got tired of trying to find a decent place to scratch and
went back to the litter box. I throw a shovel of dirt in with the litter
every once in a while so they think they are getting way with something.Has
worked wonders for me. -Maybe this might help-Kitty
