This is my first year of Square Footing. Actually, the first year I've put in
more than a couple of tomato plants. We planted some of our indoor seeds late
(tomatoes/peppers). We transplanted late. We lost plants due to hot sun, hard
rain & hail. So this week I went to a local garden center and bought plants.
After all the work preparing the garden, I gotta get something in there! I'm
still going to try planting beans & cucumbers from seed. I bought pumpkin
plants, and planted some of my own. If I get one decent out of the garden this
year, I'll be happy. My 3.5 yo DS loves pumpkins! I have been shading my new
transplants, and watering them with warm water. I sure hope it works this time!
I am learning a lot. Next year will be much better!!
