Margaret- I will try hilling and see what transpires this year. I have a crop of tater's out front to get rid of weeds and renovate an old flower bed.

I've tried this, and got such a paltry crop I didn't even get my "seed"
back. I went to a larger cage(wired-together pallets), and the same story.
I talked to a friend in Seattle who tried it, went up 9 tires,a nd his wife
feared they'd topple on someone, so he stopped there. Pitifully small
harvest.  I've only heard directly from one person that that
