Dear Gardeners, I grew oregano last year, left it in the ground, and it is a big healthy 18-inch diameter mound of green now. HOWEVER, there seems to be no oregano odor or flavor to this stuff. Same last year and this year. I originally purchased the plant from a reputable nursery last year. When I crush the green leaves I get a very slight mint odor only. I never grew oregano before so I do not quite know what to expect. (However, my basil, thyme and rosemary are just fine.) Any ideas? Wes New Jersey -- Wesley R.
