I also started my peas late--I have a community plot and didn't have a chance to get it cleaned up till April. But I started them in peat pots in my backyard and transplanted them in. I also presprouted some seeds and put those in too. They're still small, but I've put them in a shady corner along with some broccoli, cauli and lettuce-- all of which look great. I'm getting some shade cloth to put over them and I'm keeping myu fingers crossed--raw garden peas are right up there with tomatoes as my top reasons for gardening! Lisa (Whose mother and mother in law think I'm crazy for gardening, but with a full time job and a 2 year old, it's my SANITY BREAK!!) *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
