Re: I. tectorum


 

Let me remind you guys, that I tectorum 'Woolong' introduced by Jim Waddick is a bigger, more vigorous form of this species and has proven a bit hardier than some. This was collected from a large uniform  patch of this plant in the Woolong Valley of Central Sichuan. It may be a natural tetraploid. Incidentally 'Woolong' will be offered by Plant Delight's Nursery next year. This well-known mail order nursery will spread it far and wide.

Bob Pries has previously recorded that various interesting forms of tectorum have been listed including pink and a semi-double as well as others.
