Wow! I've never had buds this early on TBs -- at about the same
stage as SDBs. Big fat buds on PERFECT COUPLE, VIOLET MIRACLE,
MANUSCRIPT, FEMININE FIRE, and ELECTRIQUE. Can't wait to see them!
It makes me wonder, though: I have plans to save pollen to pollinate
later bloomers, but how do you cross with earlier bloomers? (I might
have thought of that before I made my plans, hadn't I?!)

(Seattle is zone 8, but often has significantly different weather.
Being an island, temperatures tend to moderate here, both cooler in
summer and warmer in winter, with less rain but more wind. So...?)
