HD has been doing well here in a combination of nasty cold winters and hot
dry summers. Bloom is nice, even great some years. No problem with bloomout.

The only iris I have that give performances similar to the description of
bloomout are ALPINE LAKE and TOY BOAT. I've come to believe that they're
just showing off since they do this every year.

Might feeding them too much be a factor? These beds have a bit of compost
added every 3-4 years if they're lucky.
