The photos can be up to 75 kb. This is good for web viewing. Printing sized photos are not needed We have already had a problem with one fellow stealing and asking for larger sized photos on Iris-Photos for him to sell. I don't know how much space is allowed for TWiki. If they were to allow larger files maybe there might be a smaller
limit on how many photos. Are you asking for larger viewing size or larger file size?I have looked at Plantsteps software and it looks like a good one for Daylilies. The Iris part looks like it was set up by a daylily grower. It is good that some one can use it. It would not work for me. I am using Database Oasis. It is very simple to make your own fields with several photos on each page.
I would not like to integrate my database with any on line one.Daves Garden can not even get the correct year of introduction for iris. I complained about it and they said I did not have the correct information on when I introduced my iris, They have the correct data.

I had a chance to take a peek at the iris wiki... and I am wondering if the photo sizes could be larger? I realize it's still in it's infancy and I don't know what is planned. One thing I think the world/public will want, which Dave's Garden already has, is larger pictures. That's something I'll really like about Dave's Garden; the public is able to contribute significantly sized pictures and they are beautiful! Kitty Loberg
