In my world too, the laws are frequently disregarded. It's pretty much by 
mutual agreement among people thats close. The rules are kinda simple. Don't 
hurt an animal (dog or cat) with a collar real bad unless you hafta. If you 
gotta shoot stock (cows, horses, buffalo, llamas, burros, goats) shoot 'em in 
the rear. Try not to draw blood but somes ok if it's accidental. Lots of 
shots in rapid succession, most of the time, means you'd best go check yore 
fences, a herds out. Occasionally though, they just mean a bad or kinda mad 
shooter and you aught not go visit right then. The important rule is if you 
use a BB gun no one gets the message very good.

Someday we'll most probley have to start usin' the telephone about them that 
has collars. I reckon then we can jist start cussin' . Hummm.... and maybe 
not shootin' each other none.
