Sterling (not Innerst),
It is hard for me to remember every detail, but many of the fat, plump, iris
rhizomes I have occassionally received did worse for me than the average size
guys. Some discussions on the list suggest that maybe some of the big boys
have been water fattened. Anyway, to get to your question, I have never
received a misnamed iris from Aitken and I have had some large orders. Most
of them I would say are average size, not big, but always very healthy
looking. My past orders have beeen mixed with way more medians and beardless
than tbs... and he certainly has been generous!
