Not as vocifererous, but I like "Queen" better too.  Unless I am trying to
appease some smug judgemental person, I continue to say "Queen" too.  I
don't really care about the "official title", but I wouldn't
self-righteously correct anyone for saying "Queen" any more than I would
deride someone for saying "Best Specimen".

On new years day in Pasadena, California we have a parade.  A number of
lovely young ladies vie for the position of Rose "Best Specimen", who rides
around on one of the floats and waves at the crowd.  A number of (what must
have been judged) somewhat inferior specimens used to be known as her "royal
court".  Somehow, this attempt at political correctness sounds even more
"sexist" to me.
