Quiet, well...yes. My perspective is pretty well known. Though, I have
been following the comments.
I don't remember asking to have the "burdon (sic) of this forum lifted
from" me.

I am not sure I agree that the majority "appeared to be in a negative
way," however read below.

A committee??? As in bureaucracy??? As in "a camel is a horse designed
by a committee" <grin>. I have always been open to changes to the list
that a majority of people want to see implemented.

As list owner, I can assign others as moderators, but there is only ever
one "owner"

Since this list has no affiliation with AIS, I am not sure why this is a
problem. Frankly this sounds like a snipe, but I take no offense.

The same applies to a committee. I am not concerned with looking good or
taking sides. I am concerned with keeping the list a good place for as
many members as I can. I try to listen to the opinions of all in making
decisions about the list to hopefully ensure the enjoyment of all.
To that end I have started a new poll on whether we should continue to
use Subject Tags. Vote as you will. You can do so without revealing your
identity. Go to:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iris-talk/polls
If you do not have a yahoo groups ID, I will arrange with a third party
for you to vote with them (keeping anonymous from me), or if you want
you can vote directly with me.
