Hmm - these are very close to mature pods from one of the earliest
crosses of the season that took - May 1.  The stalk has no appearance of
rotting, just seems to have dried up and snapped.  But it may be flash
dried rot <g>

The "balloon" pod that has seeds was also about that time.  I will
definitely treat them as tho they are perfect little precious viable
seeds <g>.

Yep, I got dates writ down of all my crosses this year.  Except for a
few where my brains wandered off when I was sposed to be writing.  I
even took notes on weather conditions some of the time.  Wretchedly,
oppressively humid afternoons seemed to work well for setting pods.
Hot, dry, windy weather didn't.
