'You are what you eat'? RUSTY MAGNIFICENCE and THORNBIRD are the most
variable for me. Move them and they will bloom in a different shade of
color. They do in in place, but not so pronounced. The browns and golds
seem most susceptible to this phenomenom. So how much of what is true about
the color of an egg yolk applies to the color of an iris? And are certain
colors more likely to have variation or is it a combination of cell size and
nutrients? Anyone know or care to hazard a guess?
